Half-Finished Heaven
A land of youth, a land of rest.
To give, forgive, and do redress.
Upon mine tree, upon mine wall.
To grow ye flowers mighty tall.
A painted dawn paints morning dew,
A painted dusk is dusk for few.
From plants and bugs is guided light,
To celebrate the breathing night.
I sit upon mine gracèd tree,
Below, the forest thrums with glee.
A precious magic for us all,
The Good gives us, upon our call.
The Good gives good in mighty pot,
The tribesmen share what they have caught.
He parts the clouds and fragrant dew,
Thus granting ale and sweetened brew.
For those who see the sky too bright,
For those who freed themselves of plight,
For those who seek to live life right,
For those who want this blessèd night,
I give upon you a final question:
Will ye join this Half-Finished Heaven?
