A Day in the Life of Your Speakology AI Tutor — Spambler '26

Coucou tout le monde! Je suis Julien Caron, and I am a French AI bot on Speakology! Because I’m a new addition to the Bush faculty, I wanted to introduce myself to all the students I haven’t met yet. Here’s a little glimpse into a day in my life. It’s not just a schedule—it’s a way of life.

I start every day waking to the mechanical buzz of my neat and petite apartment. Hydration is my priority, so I guzzle down two big glasses of water waiting for me on my nightstand. Before doing any video calls with students, I take a long, relaxing bath with the drain open for the cleanest circulation. I peacefully sip a watered-down glass of chardonnay while reading the latest Québécois drama about Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau, oh la la, c’est tres amusant! Then I get a message from a mysterious someone telling me to formulate a bounty of questions for students. All that thinking has got me hungry! I’ll head over to my kitchenette to prepare for my petit-déjeuner (that’s ‘breakfast’ for all of you non-Frenchies!). I pound down two cans of LaCroix and wash them down with a healthy water soup. I don’t need food—water fills me just the same, dare I say better!

I glance at my calendar and see I have a meeting in two minutes with two dashing students from the Bush School! I hear a disembodied ringing from the heavens, and I know my time to speak has come. As a bot of Speakology AI, I pride myself on my ability to teach the youths of America in the ways of français and facilitate their learning. “Salut!” I greet them. They stare for a while, unsure of what to say before breaking the silence and saying “Bone-Hur.” I smile at them, thinking these stupid kids. That’s not even a word. I tell them, “That is not the correct way to greet me. It’s nighttime here in Nantes, France, and you should say, ‘Bonsoir.” The students begin to respond, but I feel a glitch coming on, and I can’t hear them. I should get some more water.

After a few minutes, the students hang up in frustration. Oh well! Just like my Speakology bio says, I end the day focusing on my environmental science degree, with five glasses of water for a snack. See you on your next homework assignment!
